Since 1940, Jersey Fruit has been New Jersey’s premier fruit marketing cooperative. The co-op is only as strong as its membership, a select group of family run farms shipping premium blueberries and stone fruit. Our growers are involved in every aspect of production – picking, packing and shipping fruit at peak ripeness to ensure consistency of quality every time

Owners Sharon and Joe Montalbano bought their first 10 acres of land the year they got married in 1985. After retiring from the Newark NJ Fire Dept in 2003, Joe began farming full time and bought Sharon's parents land to expand their operation.

Summit City Farms and Winery (dba DeEugenio Farms) is a fourth generation farm, which was started in 1917 on only 7 acres of land, growing asparagus, grapes, peaches, apples, and nectarines. The farm has since grown to cover over 500 acres of land in fertile south Jersey.

Heilig Orchards is a fifth generation family farm, started in 1909 when 93 acres of land was purchased to farm cabbage and peppers. Today, Heilig Orchards consists of over 225 acres (190 acres of peaches/nectarines, 25 acres of apples, and 10 acres of asparagus).

Johnny Boy Blues was established in 2021. It is a second-generation farm which was formerly Lanza's Blueberry Hill. The current owners are Amy, who is the daughter of Richard and Theresa Lanza, and her husband Chris Hunter. The Hunters have two children, Annabella and Jonathan, who love being a part of the family farm and its tradition. The 80-acre farm will be 100% drip irrigated by 2024.
